Day 8 – The ball game

We headed over to the Wrigley field area in good time on the train and had lunch at a Taco Bell near the field. After getting a t-shirt for him and a visor for me we went into the field and found our seats – but of course they were the wrong ones (making a habit of this) but our actual seats were in fact better which made a change! It was great fun even though the cubs lost.
We got a taxi back to the Hotel and Maurice went up to Timmy’s while I went over to Navy Pier and then the park again.
In the evening we went to the Terrace at Trump which was amazing. The Wednesday fireworks could be seen really clearly – fantastic that they do this every Wednesday and Saturday and a great display it is too. Onward to finish the evening at Timmy’s.
